The cheeseburger has a long history in America, and its evolution is one of great benefit to foodies worldwide. No matter the toppings, the best burgers start out with quality ingredients and fresh, never frozen, beef.  We’ve scoured some of your favorite cities to find the best cheeseburgers, and they don’t at all disappoint. From simple house-made toppings like pickles and secret sauce, to the more decadent renditions featuring foie gras bordelaise and Wagyu beef, every palette will find something to love on this list!

Bar Sardine

New York, NY 10014
With an oyster trough built into the bar, it’s shocking to many that Bar Sardine’s cheeseburger hits hard! The “Fedora Burger” comes with a juicy LaFrieda blended burger patty, cucumbers, red onions, bbq mayo, and crispy shoestring fries on a pressed, crispy bun.

Atlanta – “Smoke House”

Flat Iron Bar & Restaurant

Atlanta, GA 30316
The Flat Iron Bar & Restaurant is one of my favorite spots in Atlanta! The “Smoke House” burger is one of six solid signature burgers from Flat Iron. They stack this deliciousness with cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, bacon, and crispy onion rings!
Pro Tip:  All of these burgers can be substituted for the bleeding, vegan Impossible Burger!

This Wynwood hotspot known for its amazing cocktails and ambiance is also home to one of Miami’s best cheeseburgers!  Le Chick Rotisserie’s “Royale with Cheese” is where the classic meets the millennial with their use of basic ingredients in their highest quality form. While simply a two-patty burger with cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce and cheddar cheese, they personalize the experience with their house-made pickles and secret sauce!
