Virgos are said to be loyal, analytical, and hardworking to a fault. Convincing Virgos to take a break from the work desk to fully embrace a vacation may be difficult, but certainly worth the reward.

Virgo’s element is earth, making them a nature-lover at heart. Here are 5 adventures to set the always-working Virgo free.

Patagonia, Chile

Patagonia covers roughly 400,000 square miles through Argentina and Chile, making this an epic adventure to plan for the always organized Virgo. From glaciers to dense forests and dramatic mountains, Patagonia is the perfect spot for nature-lovers and adventure seekers. The southernmost region includes Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas, and Tierra del Fuego – all notable areas and great destinations to begin your journey.

Lake Placid, New York

Lake Placid is a village located in the mountains with stunning views of forest, hills, and sparkling water. Mirror Lake borders the village and has plenty to offer visitors. Nature is always within reach here with hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking, and camping under a canopy of stars. There is also a golf course and a downtown area with art galleries, restaurants, spas and lots of other options to explore.

Monteverde, Costa Rica

Sloths, toucans, and kinkajous roam free throughout the cloud forests of Monteverde. One of the most biodiverse places on the earth, Monteverde is home to 2,500 species of plants, 400 varieties of birds, and over 100 types of mammals. Zipline, hike, or bike your way through the cloud forest that sits 4,662 feet above sea level and gets its name from the evergreen environment due to the precipitation and moisture-filled clouds which hover over the horizon on an almost daily basis.

Galapagos, Ecuador

The Galapagos, consisting of 19 islands, is home to wildlife and landscapes that you can’t find anywhere else on the earth. The islands emerged from the bottom of the sea in the form of astonishing volcanic upheavals and biodiversity that will inspire any nature-lover.  With few predators, you can expect much of the wildlife to readily approach you out of curiosity.

Lake Tahoe, Nevada
