Two Pilots Claim UFO Sightings While Flying Near Ireland

Someone call the Men in Black and send them overseas.
Two pilots said they witnessed some strange things while flying over the coast of Ireland to Shannon Airport. Automatically assuming that it may be some military activity or just random acts of nature taking place, they alerted traffic control, but it was later confirmed that it wasn’t planned.
It happened on two separate occasions. A pilot for British Airways claims she saw bright lights move past her plane and another pilot on Virgin Airways spotted familiar lights while flying from the U.S. to the U.K. This pilot initially thought it was a meteor but the number of flashes and intensity made him question it. “It was moving so fast,” the British Airways pilot said. “It came up on our left-hand side and then rapidly veered to the north. It was a very bright light that disappeared at very high speed.”
One of the pilots said the lights were going at “astronomical” speed and said it looked like it was flying at twice the speed of sound. In the air, sound travels at 343 meters per second. Whatever they saw was going beyond the definition of fast.
This isn’t the first sighting of potential UFOs this year. On April 11, 2018, while watching webcams, YouTuber Earthly Patriot described seeing some purple beams in the skies over Phoenix, Arizona. The footage went viral with many spectators thinking it was Tesla scalar waves or light reflected off insects. In June, meteorologist Autumn Lewandowski in Buffalo, New York saw something interesting on one of the time-lapse cameras. It looked like a brighter than normal type of light that shot off toward the camera and completely out of sight.
The Irish Aviation Authority announced they are confidentially investigating the claims, but a spokesperson suggested the lights are unlikely to be alien.
