Where To Travel Next Based On Your Personality Test Results

By Leah Freeman-Haskin

If you are looking for travel inspiration, here is an interesting place to start. Kalon Surf, a luxury surf school in Costa Rica, relied on psychologists as well as travel experts to come up with the best destinations for each Myers-Briggs personality type.

For those who are not familiar, Myers-Briggs is a personality test that breaks down opposing behaviors into the following four groups:

Extroversion (E) vs. Introversion (I)

Sensing (S) vs. Intuition (N)

Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F)

Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P)

These preferences then create one of sixteen personality types which the surf company then used to determine which destination in the world would best suit you. You can take the test here.

“Although deciphering personality is more of an art than an exact science, unraveling your emotional predispositions can help you decide what travel environments you might thrive in,” says the Kalon Surf website.

Here are their recommendations.
