Visiting Jamaica offers you a chance to relax, eat great food, and emerge yourself in all the Caribbean country has to offer. With many tourists booking getaways in the resort town of Montego Bay, we want to share a few reasons why Ocho Rios should be the next stop on your Jamaican vacation. Here are a few of the attractions that will make visiting the cruise ship port town a must.

Nine Mile

You can’t talk about Jamacia without speaking about Bob Marley born Robert Nesta Marley. If you’re interested in seeing both his birthplace and final resting place, the little-over-an-hour ride from Ocho Rios to the countryside town will be well worth it. The tour of the property will allow you to see where Bob Marley is buried along with his half-brother, Anthony Booker, along with the second tomb of Bob Marley’s mother, Cedella Booker.

Dunn’s River Falls

Visiting Ocho Rios and not experiencing the natural beauty that the city has to offer would leave even the non-nature lover feeling like they missed out. At Dunn’s River Falls you can zip line, take tours, or go the adventure yourself. No matter what you choose you, you can’t miss the chance to take in one of Jamacia’s national treasures.

Dolphin Cove Ocho Rios

Have you ever wanted to swim with dolphins? Well, Dolphin Cove gives its visitors that chance. The attraction offers eleven packages to choose from with the Dolphin Royal Package starting at $125.

Mystic Mountain

The Mystic Mountain Rainforest offers one of the islands most booked attractions: Bobsled Jamaica. The attractions feature a 1000m long gravity-drive through the rainforest on custom designed, high-tech sleds.

Ocho Rios ATV Safari

Take a ride through the Jamaican countryside on the rugged trails of a colonial-era estate. If you’re up for the adventure, you’ll ride through the mountainous terrain, emerge yourself in the local community, and take in the lush forests all on the ATV ride.
