A 3-year-old has gone viral after he eluded his mother and climbed onto the baggage belt at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.

The adventurous tot disappeared behind an unattended Spirit Airlines ticketing counter and hopped on the conveyer belt all while his mother turned away to print her boarding pass. Surveillance footage caught the young boy momentarily get caught onto the belt before a suitcase pushes him through to the other side of the wall. And that’s where the journey begins.

Camera footage shows the child venturing through various restricted areas, at one point passing through an X-Ray machine and trying to crawl back up the belt, before his impromptu airport tour came to an end at the baggage inspection station where a TSA employee carries him to safety.

The toddler was hospitalized with a “severely swollen and bruised” right hand.
