No, it’s not selfish to book that solo trip without a second thought. Having little beings who constantly rely on you for, well, everything, can be emotionally and physically draining. A few days by yourself to focus on your needs is not selfish. It is essential for survival. Solo travel is a form of self-care because you are putting yourself first and focusing on what you need. Book the spa treatment, eat the cake, drink the wine in bed while watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta uninterrupted, and enjoy every glorious minute.
