Croatia is quickly becoming a buzz-worthy destination for those that want to explore the country’s beautiful beaches, rich culture, scenic landscape and fascinating history, and there are now flights to the country’s capital, Zagreb, that can get you to Croatia this fall for less than $600.

Depart from New York City-area airports, and you can get to Croatia for as little as $593 when traveling between September and February 2019 on airlines like Air Canada and British Airways.

If you’re in Chicago, expect to find flights for fall travel from the mid 600s while those in Los Angeles, Boston, and Miami can expect to find flights from the mid 700s. Seattle has round-trip flights to Zagreb for less than $700, so you’ll have to search on Google Flights to see if there are affordable tickets from your local airport.

Once you’re in Croatia, the country is a feast for the senses. Explore some of the world’s oldest ruins dating back to when the Romans ruled Croatia, and sample signature dishes like the crni rizot, a black risotto dish with seafood that you’ll find on the menu in many Croatian restaurants. When in Zagreb, spend an afternoon at Jelačić Square and stroll the Museum of Broken Relationships, and make time for the train ride to Split to take in ocean views from Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast.
