Flight Deal: New York To Lima, Peru For Only $286

Looking to cross South America off of your list in 2020? Want to finally make your way to Machu Picchu? This amazing deal will allow you to do so while saving some money in the process.
South American based LATAM Airlines is advertising low price flights from New York’s JFK airport to Lima, Peru for as low as $286 roundtrip.
The deal is valid for travel throughout January and February. Most of the flights will fly direct on one of your legs and then have a short stop in Ecuador on the other leg. So, it’s almost like purchasing a nonstop route.
We searched using the dates 1/30-2/6 on Skyscanner. When using Skyscanner you can filter your search by an entire month. Select either January or February and look for the dates that populate in green. Those are the lowest prices available at the time. Select the dates that are best for you and follow the links to purchase.
Lima, Peru is one of the largest and most exciting cities in all of South America, and you could find yourself exploring the historical coastal city this fall.
The nightlife in Lima is legendary, so be sure to sip on the country’s most famous cocktail, the Pisco Sour, while you explore the gorgeous bars and restaurants around the city. You’ll also want to work on a trip to Machu Picchu if time permits, which is less than a two-hour flight from Lima.
Seeing Machu Picchu does require some hiking. If you are not comfortable hiking alone, it is best to hire a tour company to guide you. Don’t forget your camera for this one.
