Kellee Edwards stars in the all-new commercial for the 2020 Ford Explorer shot in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois. The commercial is voiced by veteran actress Angela Bassett.

Not only did Ford tap into the Black Girl Magic that is Kellee Edwards and Angela Bassett, but they also took a moment to highlight the Haitian explorer Jean Baptiste Point du Sable, the first permanent non-Indigenous settler of what would later become Chicago.
