It may be the beginning of the year, but there are already new airline routes on the horizon. Since new route announcements come with a side of cheap flights, these new routes will have lower airfares this year.

Now, residents of North American cities will be able to have connections to Africa, Europe, Mexico, and the South Pacific. The huge benefit of these new routes is getting to your destination more quickly than before.

Thanks to SmarterTravel.com, there is a list of the 13 newest routes for 2020:

Austin (AUS) to Paris (CDG – Norwegian Airlines

Norwegian Airlines got rid of service from smaller airports in the Northeast but has added new routes from certain cities in the U.S. to Europe. May 6th, 2020 will be the start of its nonstop service from Austin, Texas to Paris, France.

Flights will take place three times per week, making it the only nonstop flight between Austin and Paris.

Boston (BOS) to Calgary (YYC) – Air Canada and WestJet
