This New Airline Partnership Is Offering Cheaper Flights To Paris And Tahiti
By Kelsey Marie
2020 travel is already looking up. If you’re planning on traveling to Paris or Tahiti this year, you’ll have access to cheaper flights thanks to a new partnership between French Bee and Alaska Airlines.
French Bee is the first low-cost carrier in France and has entered an interline agreement with Alaska Airlines meaning that travelers can book connecting flights using the two airlines with a single reservation.
When booking with this partnership, you’ll receive one boarding pass for the entire trip and your luggage will be checked to reach your final destination.
The partnership will afford the French airline an opportunity to enter the U.S. market. Travelers flying out of San Francisco International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey will be able to fly to Paris or Tahiti from San Francisco.
The president of French Bee, Marc Roshet, gave a statement Tuesday saying: “This alliance demonstrates how agile our business model is, allowing us to seize the most relevant opportunities to accelerate our growth.”
Since French Bee is a low-cost carrier, the planes will have options such as checked bags, extra legroom, and meals a la carte. However, the lowest fare class does allow travelers to have a carry-on bag.
As of now, you can book tickets through travel agents in France or the U.S. According to French Bee, tickets will be available on its website soon.
