New Airline Gives Beer Lovers The Flight Of Their Dreams

Have a soft spot for beer on tap? Now’s your time to embrace it.

BrewDog, an independent craft brewer, is making the world’s first craft beer airline a reality. Passengers will get the bar-like experience thanks to a chartered Boeing 767 round-trip flight between London and Columbus, Ohio, in February 2019. Taking off between February 21-25, 2019, the experience will include a four-night stay in Columbus to tour BrewDog’s brewery, a visit to The DogHouse Hotel, and explore the BrewDog’s beer museum.

If those beers on tap aren’t enough, travelers aboard the flight will also get to explore other breweries in the Columbia and Cincinnati area.

While in the air, beer lovers get to have a tasting of beers brewed specifically adapted to the high altitudes of the flight, with a food menu to match. If you need a break from all the fun, travelers can take advantage of in-flight care packages like BrewDog eye masks and blankets. “BrewDog Airlines will be an experience like no other, we’ve redesigned the flight experience for optimum beer enjoyment – from the food to the entertainment, the cabin crew and most of all, the specially brewed high-altitude beer,” BrewDog co-founder James Watt said in a statement.

The reason why these flights sound so exclusive? It’s because they are. Tickets for this experience are available to the BrewDog community only. With flights, excursions, and accommodations all included, the total cost for a ticket is specifically $1602.46 a person. Doesn’t sound too bad for an all-inclusive trip with drinks galore.

If you’re not part of the Equity Punk community and want in, you’re in luck. BrewDog is currently running a contest on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter where five lucky winners and a plus one will get a chance to go.
