The Most Expensive Hotel Suite In America Is In New York City

If you have an endless amount of money and you’re heading to New York City, you may want to check out the luxurious hotel suite that just so happens to be the most expensive suite in the entire country.

Located in the Mark Hotel, this jaw-dropping NYC suite can be yours to stay in for a mere $75,000 a night. According to Fortune, the hotel went through a massive renovation that lasted from 2006 to 2009. Interior designer Jacques Grange was the mastermind behind the building’s makeover and the now-infamous suite.

The space covers a whopping 10,000 square feet. It’s so huge that it takes up space on both the 16th and 17th floors within the Mark Hotel.. The luxurious NYC suite consists of not one, but five bedrooms. On top of that, there are also six full bathrooms, two wet bars, four fireplaces and more breathtaking amenities that will make any visitor want to stay forever.

But wait, we’re not done drooling over this place just yet. We haven’t even discussed the living room! It’s located at the corner of the hotel and it has 26-foot ceilings. This makes it large enough to house a full-fledged grand ballroom. Moreover, there’s a huge rooftop terrace where you can take in a beautiful view of Central Park.

A select few have used the suite for quite some time. However, the NYC suite is now available to the public for rent to the public for the first time. “Before the paint was dry on the renovation, we had someone interested in renting it as an apartment, so it has never been publicized or even on the website,” the general manager for the Mark Hotel, Olivier Lordonnois, told Bloomberg. “We then had a family rent it for 16 months, and now it is finally ready for guests.”

Lordonnois also mentioned the suite’s luxuriousness: “It is a lot more work on our side to find these special amenities, but they are certainly a little more genuine. Obviously, the accommodation is unbelievable, but after that, the little details have to be in line with the rest. That is our job: to find those little things.”
