This Luxury Hotel In The Caribbean Just Re-Opened After 4 Years And Is More Gorgeous Than Ever

Sometimes you need to work on stuff and make it better for it to reach its full potential. That’s what recently happened with a popular resort in St. Thomas that went through major renovations.

Rosewood Little Dix Bay was closed for four years and has recently reopened. The resort originally opened in 1964 by billionaire Laurance Rockefeller.

During the four-year renovations, there were major hurricanes Irma and Maria which caused the renovation period to be longer than usual.

The resort opens up with 80 rooms, Danish design, and a classy beach vibe. Best of all, it’s less than a 5-minute walk from the beach!

The food at Rosewood Little Dix Bay is better than ever, with the food at on-site restaurant Sugar Mill being head by chef Francisco Sanabria. Chef Sanabria comes from Spanish heritage and a lot of the food on the menu is served tapas-style with West Indian influences. There are also 107 various rums served at the bar.

A lot of the produce chef Sanabria uses to cook comes from the organic garden on the property.

Spend a day at Little Dix resort snorkeling, eating great food and relaxing Spring Bay, where you can soak in baths and swim.

With sustainability in mind, the resort doesn’t serve plastic straws and food and drinks are served in washable glass jars. All of the dishes are ordered via tablets.

Little Dix resort has been around for a very long time but is now better than ever after this much-anticipated renovation and upgrade of the current times.
