After Visiting Every Country In The World, Jessica Nabongo Launches ‘The Catch’

Jessica Nabongo made history this year by becoming the first documented black woman to travel to every country in the world. You can take a look at her incredible journey via her Instagram account which currently has 180,000 followers and counting.

Now, Nabongo is setting her sights on a new venture that combines her passion for travel and world cultures with her reputation as a style icon. The Catch is a luxury lifestyle brand and product line curated by Nabongo and is inspired by the world’s 195 countries. According to the website, The Catch is a socially conscious brand for that jet-setter that is on the move who wants to evoke style and sophistication as they reach their destination or for the person who just wants to bring a piece of the world home.

The products featured and sold on her site are a collection of unique and stunning market finds, handicrafts and other travel-leisure merchandise in a limited edition of only 195 pieces of each item. Adding a personal touch, each piece is numbered and symbolizes one of the 195 countries in the world recognized by the United Nations.

“Jessica is committed to increasing cultural awareness and encourages people to think positively about other countries and the world at large so that we do not miss out on opportunities to have amazing experiences with our neighbors,” states the bio on the website.

The Catch works with local artisans and ethical manufacturers and part of the proceeds from sales go towards supporting artisans and their communities all over the world.
