Rent the gown once you get there.

Yes, you can actually rent those beautiful gowns in Santorini. If you want to save space in your luggage, then take this route. There are tons of websites out there that offer visitors rental options. Companies like Santorini Dress Rental will allow you to choose the gown of your choice for the day. There are also photographers who will rent gowns in addition to providing photography services. Most of the gowns are “one size fits all” so keep that in mind when considering this option.

Hire a photographer

You can take your pick from dozens of photographers to snap the perfect photos while in Greece. Instagram will be the easiest place to find the best photographer for you. Because these photos have become very popular, the prices for photography services can be a little expensive. The plus of hiring a photographer is that they have firsthand knowledge of the area and will eliminate the headache of trying to get to the best spots.

Want to save money?

If you are on a budget, then take the photos on your own. You can still rent the dress for the day, but you can cut your expenses by more than half by being your own photographer. Of course, you will either need a friend or a tripod to help you take your pictures. You can even ask other travelers in the area to help you “throw the dress” so that it will have the perfect blowing look. It will take a little more research and planning to get to the perfect photo locations but if you don’t mind, then this is the best option for you.
