If You Flew In From Connecticut, New Jersey, Or New York, Florida’s Governor Is Demanding A 2 Week Self-Quarantine

Anyone with plans to fly into Florida airports from the Tri-State area will have to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
The Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis has issued an executive order stating that all travelers from Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York must self-isolate or quarantine when landing in any of Florida’s airports.
The quarantine time is 14 days from the time of entry.
According to WFSB News 3, the Governor implemented this executive order for states where shelter-in-place orders are being put in place.
Governor DeSantis shared that travelers will be escorted by local or state law enforcement officers and health officials.
If anyone violates the executive order, they will be subjected to a misdemeanor fine of $500 or less.
DeSantis says that there were over 190 direct flights from NYC to various airports in the state of Florida.
The order will go into place on Tuesday, March 24 at 12:01 a.m. and will not apply to airline employees or those performing emergency, health or military tasks.
