Known for its iconic opera house, beaches, nightlife and weather, Sydney, Australia is one of those places that you never want to leave.

The first thing on your to-do list should be the beach. There are close to 100 beaches in the city of Sydney alone, so you should not have any problem finding the one that best suits your personality.

Bondi is one of the most popular and for good reason. Its white sand and clear blue waters are mesmerizing.

If you want something more secluded, you want to head to Congwong Beach.  Keep in mind though that the comforts of seclusion here means that clothing is optional.

Sydney’s location to water means that you will not have a hard time finding fresh food and produce.

Explore food in Sydney by taking a tour at the Sydney Fish Market, home to dozens of local restaurants and retailers.

One thing you will notice in Sydney is the different ways to consume food. It’s not uncommon for Aussies to barbecue and drink on the waterfront.

Deals to Australia often range from $900 to $1200 round-trip, but these deals will get you there for as low as $496 round-trip:

From Chicago

American Airlines has a flight for $496 round-trip from Chicago, with a stop in Australia.

United also has a flight for $498 with the same dates, with a stop in San Francisco. The only difference between the flights besides $2 is literally night and day.  You can fly in the morning on American or late in the evening on United.

From Los Angeles

Flights from Los Angeles are running for $538 round-trip from Mar. 4 through March 10 on Hawaiian Airlines. The only bad part (inserts sarcasm) with this flight is that there is a layover in Honolulu.

For a few more dollars, Fiji Airways has a flight for $586 round-trip with a layover, in yes, FIJI!

From Dallas

United Airlines has various flights leaving as early as May for $536 round-trip. The cheapest option and quickest way to is the second flight option with one stop flight in Houston.
