The beautiful city of Melbourne is located on the southeastern coast of Australia. From the public art, beaches, and cafes, Melbourne offers plenty to do and see.

During your visit, be sure to walk down the famous bluestone laneway and urban art scene known as Hosier Lane.  There are tons of murals and installations to indulge in while you walk up this hipster street.

If you’re looking for a beach, St Kilda Beach is where you will find the best skyline views of Melbourne and an incredible look at the sunsets. While there, a ferry will take you to explore Williamstown and Southbank.

Los Angeles to Melbourne

The cheapest option to Melbourne is a flight from the Los Angeles area, according to Google Flights. United Airlines has a nonstop flight priced at $523 round-trip from Feb. 27 through Mar. 13.

New York to Melbourne

Flights from the New York Area to Melbourne are starting at $679 round-trip on Delta and Virgin Australia Airlines from March 5 through March 12, according to Google Flights. The flight includes one layover in Los Angeles.

Miami to Melbourne

There are flights to Melbourne as early as February that are departing from Miami for $682 round-trip on American Airlines and Qantas, according to Google Flights. Plug in Feb. 26 through March 5 as your travel dates.

Dallas to Brisbane

The cheapest flight to Australia from Dallas is to Brisbane, the capital of Queensland.

The Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, and the Lone Pine Kola Sanctuary are among the top things explore during a visit to Brisbane.

According to Google Flights, there are flights to Brisbane from Dallas is to Brisbane for $695 round-trip with one stop in Los Angeles on Delta and Virgin Australia airlines.  Use flight dates Feb. 18 through Feb. 27.
