WOW Air is currently running its one-way flash sale. You can find flights for as low as $45 from multiple cities to Reykjavik, Iceland.
The low priced flights can be found departing from New York (EWR), Baltimore (BWI), Detroit (DTW), and Boston (BOS). The flash sale is valid for travel between March 1 and May 31. While this sale was originally announced as a President’s Day only sale, there are still many flight options available. However, there will only be a certain number of tickets available at this price.
You can use Google Flights to find and book the dates that work best for you. You should check the WOW Air website for restrictions on baggage and other details.
“We are thrilled to offer travelers an opportunity to explore Iceland this spring in honor of Presidents Day,” Skúli Mogensen, founder and CEO of WOW Air, said in a statement.
“At WOW air, we are committed to making travel more affordable and accessible to all, from the experienced globe-trotter to travel newbies and those in between,” Mogensen added.
Reykjavik, on the coast of Iceland, is the country’s capital and largest city. It’s home to the National and Saga museums, tracing Iceland’s Viking history. The striking concrete Hallgrimskirkja church and rotating Perlan glass dome offer amazing views of the sea and nearby hills. You can’t go to Iceland and not take a dip in the infamous geothermal Blue Lagoon spa, near the village of Grindavik. After all, Gucci Mane gave us all FOMO with his viral Instagram post from the lagoon. Now it’s your turn to do the same.
It is said that springtime is the best time to enjoy the city. The Northern Lights will still be gleaming for that once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity. Not to mention, the nightlife will be in full swing too.
Grab your flight now. This sale will only be around for a few days.
