Flight Deal: Nonstop From NYC To Barcelona For Only $289

By DeAnna Taylor

Flying to Europe can be very inexpensive if you can find a deal. American Airlines, and a few of its affiliates, have dropped pricing on its routes to Barcelona. You can fly nonstop from New York’s JFK airport to Barcelona for as low as $289.

This deal is valid for travel in late September going into early October. The dates for the lowest price are very limited, but there are other low-price dates as well.

You can use Google Flights to find the dates that work best for you. You will then be provided a link to purchase the flights directly through American’s website.

This deal is under American Airlines’ basic economy fare. The following rules will apply:

  • You cannot select a seat prior to check-in. You will be assigned a seat on the day of your flight.
  • You are limited to carry-on luggage only. Despite this being an international flight, you will have to pay extra for checked bags.
  • You cannot make changes to the ticket once it is confirmed

If these rules are okay with you, then go for it! You will still be given a regular seat on the plane and treated to snacks and beverages like everyone else.
