By DeAnna Taylor
It’s time to head to ‘Sin City,’ Chicago fam. With this incredibly low flight deal, you’ll definitely want to grab your seat.
American Airlines has dropped prices on its nonstop routes from Chicago into Vegas. The lowest price found at the time of this post was $129 roundtrip.
This deal is valid for travel from December through February of 2020. For our search we used 1/11-1/14. You will also be able to find some earlier flight options starting in September for around $135. But, be mindful that some of those routes require that you depart on American but return via Spirit Airlines. This may affect baggage options.
We used Google Flights to search for this deal.
For those that fly the American Airlines routes, you should know that the deal is for basic economy. Under this class the following rules will apply:
- You cannot select your seat prior to check-in. One will be assigned to you on the day that you travel.
- You cannot upgrade or make changes to the ticket once it is confirmed. This includes canceling the flight for any reason.
- You will board with the last group of passengers.
- You are allowed one carry-on and one personal item. Your first checked bag will be only $30.
If you are in need of a quick getaway once the Chicago winter starts to take over, this is your deal. While it can get cool in Vegas during winter months, it won’t be nearly as bad as the Chi.
If you head to Vegas during this time, take advantage of the indoor activities around the strip. Opt to see one of the many Cirque du Soleil shows or turn up in one of the popular night clubs. Unfortunately, the pools will be closed at the time but Vegas is always popping.
Hurry and lock in your seat for this deal before it’s too late. After all, you can’t be a nonstop flight at this price.
