Flight Deal: Fly To San Juan, Puerto Rico Nonstop For $150

Multiple airline carriers are reducing fares to beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico. You can find nonstop prices for as low as $150 roundtrip from Atlanta.

 

 

Low-priced fares can be found on Frontier Air as well as American Airlines. Other departure cities include Miami, Chicago, D.C., and Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina. Use Google Flights to find exact dates and up-to-date pricing. Be mindful of baggage policies for both airlines as well.

San Juan has finally recovered from Hurricane Maria, which struck back in 2017. The U.S. territory is now welcoming visitors back to the island with open arms. Many of the major resorts are set to re-open just in time for this price drop. They have undergone extensive renovations over the last year, so you can expect some pretty significant upgrades.

 

San Juan offers something for everyone. Start by walking the cobblestone roads filled with colorful colonial homes in Old San Juan. Snap a picture in front of the mural of the nation’s flag. After all, it didn’t happen if there is no picture to prove it.

 

Relax at one of the many beautiful beaches and try some watersports. If you are into nature, check out El Yunque rainforest for a hike and impressive waterfalls. (Before booking any tours, ask what areas are still closed due to hurricane recovery to determine if it is worth the money. You could also do a self-guided tour.) Lastly, be sure to indulge yourself on authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. A must-try dish is Mofongo, a mound of plantains into which seafood, meats, and vegetables are added.

If you are looking for a quick winter escape, this is the deal for you. Remember that passports are not required for U.S. citizens to travel to Puerto Rico. Hurry and grab your fight before prices rise again.
