Many airlines are dropping fares to ‘The Big Easy.’ You can find low-priced flights for as low as $39 round-trip leaving out of Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina on Frontier.

Other departure cities include Charlotte, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C. Other airline carriers with lower fares to check out are American Airlines and Spirit. Use Google Flights to find dates and pricing.

New Orleans is a perfect domestic vacation spot. It is a city filled with food, fun, and culture.

You can visit the infamous Café Du Monde to try their world-renowned beignets and coffee. Make sure to get there early to beat the crowd. They currently have 8 locations throughout the city so it is a convenient trip no matter where you’re staying. The main location is open 24 hours. Be sure to try a fried shrimp Po’ Boy and some seafood gumbo while in the city.

While you’re in NOLA, take a ride on the St. Charles line railway cars. These old-school trolley cars are one of the primary modes of public transportation.

For my art lovers, NOLA is your perfect destination. This city is filled with some of the most unique galleries. Check out Studio Be located in the Bywater. This warehouse-turned-gallery displays artwork that represents the black experience like no other. While you are in the Bywater neighborhood, snap the perfect Instagram photo in front of the colorful homes and murals.

Another unique spot to check out is the Ashley Longshore Gallery. The artist and owner uses bright colors and quirky expressions to draw in customers.

When the sun goes down, make your way to Frenchmen Street to catch one of the live street bands. Browse the Frenchmen Street Art Market for souvenirs to commemorate your time.

No trip to New Orleans is complete without taking a stroll down Bourbon Street at night. You will find some of New Orleans’ most famous cocktails along this legendary avenue.

Act fast, as these fares won’t be around very long.
