Flight Deal: Fly to Munich for as Low as $400

With the summer crowds dwindling down, consider your next Europe visit this fall to Germany. The temperatures are dropping and so are the prices for a plane ticket, which is good news for tourists considering there are a great deal of activities to embark on this upcoming season.

 

Speaking of activities, September and October marks prime time for wine and harvest festivals. Oktoberfest, one of the largest beer festivals in the world, will be held in late September and early October in Munich this year. The festival draws more than 7 million people each year from around world to Germany where participants consume more than 6 million liters of Bavarian beer.

 

In addition to festivals, Munich is home to numerous  attractions and specialty museums like the Valentin Museym and the Nymphenburg Palace. For shopping, visitors can also head to Viktualienmarkt, the city’s largest and most famous outdoor marketplace. Here you will find food, clothes, art, and more.

 

From New Jersey:

The cheapest option will have you in Munich for as low as $402 round-trip for a seven-day trip from New Jersey. The flight, through Icelandair, includes one layover in Keflavik there and back. Google Flights have a few cheap options in late September and early October for this price.

 

 

 

 

From Washington:

Like New Jersey, there are flights in early October leaving Washington D.C. for $413 round-trip on Icelandair. The flight includes an hour layover in Keflavik, there and back as well.

 

From Minneapolis:

The best deal from Minneapolis was found in early November for a seven-day vacation on Icelandair. According to Google Flights, airfare from Minneapolis to Munch is $572 round-trip on Icelandair.

 

From Portland:

There are two options from Portland. The cheapest flight includes two layovers in Minneapolis and Detroit for $585 round-trip. The second option includes a layover in Amsterdam for $589 round-trip on Delta Airlines.
