Calling those in and around Atlanta. If you are looking to head to NYC,  you may want to continue reading. Delta Airlines has reduced prices on its routes from Atlanta, Georgia to the NYC area. The lowest priced nonstop flight can be found for $99 roundtrip.

This promotion is valid for travel throughout September. If you are looking to head out sooner, you can find flights for under $200 as well. You can use Priceline to find the best deal.

This promotion is a part of Delta Airlines’ basic economy’ fare class. Under this fare class the following rules apply:

  • You cannot select your seat. A seat will be assigned to you at check-in.
  • You are limited to a carry-on item and a personal item.
  • Checked baggage will come at a higher fee than it would under regular economy.

Other than this, you will receive the same amenities as passengers flying on a regular economy ticket.

A personal favorite is Sweet Chick, which is part-owned by rapper Nas. You can find some of the best chicken and waffle combinations around the city here.

If want a dope bar and lounge experience, check out Beatstro, located in the Bronx. When you first walk in the door,  you’ll think you’ve stepped into a vintage record store.
