There’s so much to love about Costa Rica’s capital city, San Jose.

It’s the perfect destination for nature lovers or for someone looking to change their vacation -style up and looking for adventure.

Popular activities include day-trips to La Paz Waterfall, the Arenal Volcano and the Tabacon Hot Springs.

You can’t leave Costa Rica with a cup of country’s famous coffee, so why not start the morning with a food tour?

San Jose will not disappoint. Here’s how you can get to San Jose, Costa Rica for as low as $178 round-trip.

From Orlando

Flights to San Jose are priced as low as $178 round-trip on Spirit Airlines, according to Skyscanner. What’s great about this flight deal is that it’s a direct flight from Florida.

There are few deals throughout the month of September with flights this low.

From Atlanta

The good news, flights to San Jose are cheap to Atlanta this September. The bad news is that the flight requires a layover in Kansas City.

Now back to the good news.

Use Sept. 24 through Oct. 3 as your travel dates for a round-trip flight for $241 on Spirit Airlines, according to Skyscanner. If you’re not interested in a layover, there are other options with shorter layovers. They just require more money.

From New Orleans

Unlike Orlando and Atlanta, the cheapest time to travel to San Jose is in early October for those of you departing from New Orleans.

According to Skyscanner, round-trip flights from Oct. 3 through Oct. 7 are running as low as $228. This flight option requires a more than 10-hour layover in Fort Lauderdale.

You can use the layover as a chance to sneak two destinations in for the price of one, or you can pay a little more for a shorter layover.
