Hey Atlanta, it’s time to pack your bags and add a stamp to the collection. JetBlue just dropped prices on its routes from Atlanta, Georgia into Cartagena, Colombia. The lowest price found at the time of this post was $318 roundtrip.

Yes, this deal does include a layover but they are short depending on your travel dates. If you find that the wait in Fort Lauderdale is too long, hop in an Uber and do a little exploring before you flight into Cartagena.

If you are looking to purchase this deal, it has travel dates ranging between October and November. You will find Sprit Airlines flights in the $200s as well. It’s all about your airline carrier preference.

For this search we used 11/3-11/7 to pull a price of $318. The average price under this deal is $320-$344. Either way, that’s still pretty good to head to South America. You will be able to bring on a carry-on and personal item for no additional charge.

You can use Google Flights to find the dates that work best for your schedule.

Cartagena is quickly becoming a must-visit among black travelers. As a former port for the slave trade, Cartagena is rich in African culture and influence. Start your trip around Old Town to take in the rich colonial architecture, and here you’ll also find your share of cathedrals and buildings complete with cute, picture-perfect balconies.

The vibrant colors will surely have you planning out your outfits to ensure you get the best IG-worthy shots.

For all of my foodies out there, check out Quintal. It’s an old building that has been converted into a food lover’s paradise. It houses everything from fast food spots, cafes, to gourmet food markets, and you can even check out some of the English speaking Colombian cooking classes. We also have a complete Cartagena city guide that will tell you everything that is not to be missed in the gorgeous destination. Get your copy here.
