Famous Dex Fan Gets Probation After Trying To Steal Plane To Attend Concert

Some celebrities have super fans, but this one takes the cake.
A young man from Arkansas has pleaded guilty for attempting to steal a plane to see a concert featuring his favorite rapper, Famous Dex.
Reports say that on July 4, authorities found 18-year-old Zemarcius Scott in the cockpit of an American Eagle plane with intentions of flying to Chicago to see the artist perform. Scott threw his bike in a nearby ditch and hoped a fence to get on the tarmac of Texarkana Regional Airport. After he was found mentally stable to stand trial, he was charged with theft of property and commercial burglary, was given five years of probation and has to pay a $1,000.00 fine. Scott is also required to go to mental health treatment, something probation officers thought was necessary.
Flying a plane takes extreme skill, and Scott had no prior experience as a pilot, but he thought it wouldn’t be hard. He told authorities that he figured flying a plane was nothing more than pushing some buttons and pulling levers.
If it were that easy, we’d all be flying planes, right?
Famous Dex is a Chicago-bred rapper whose popularity increased after being featuring rapper A$AP Rocky’s 2017 hit song, “Pick It Up.” Dex recently started a beef via livestream with Soulja Boy.
Scott isn’t the first person guilty of trying to steal a plane. In September 2018, a 22-year-old student at the Florida Institute of Technology tried to steal an American Airlines flight from Orlando Melbourne International Airport. A maintenance worker found Nishal Sankat in the cockpit and asked for his access badge. Of course, he didn’t have it, so two other employees held him down until police arrived.
Sankat was taken into custody and charged with criminal intent to steal an aircraft. The assailant told authorities that he earned his commercial pilot certificate in January, allowing him to fly single and multi-engine planes.
