Miami is such a great city.  Whether you want to go lay out on the beach and tan in the sun, sit under an umbrella, or just vibe out at a nice bar or lounge, there are so many choices.  The best part is finding a place that has drinks that vary from your traditional margarita or piña colada.

Next time you make your way down to this amazing party city, check out one of these locations where the cocktail menu alone will have you playing the Jeopardy tune in your head as you struggle to decide where to start.

Beaker & Gray

Their name comes from tools used by industry professionals who place emphasis on the quality of their product, and quality is exactly what you get here.  An amazing menu of lunch cocktails, brunch cocktails, shaken martinis and of course a selection of stirred martinis and don’t overlook the wine selection.  The stirred Billy Club martini (Monkey Shoulder whiskey, solerno blood orange, Drambuie liqueur, and Lillet Blanc aperitif) is a house favorite.

RedBar Drink Company

This is a place you can go just about any day of the week and there is guaranteed entertainment.  The mixologist here focus on flavor and local craft brews. Located in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, come in and have a drink over a classic board game or chill out in the lounge environment as the music takes you back to a place you love best.  RedBar offers a daily happy hour, comedy night on Monday’s, Whiskey Wednesdays, Ladies Night Thursday’s, and they host live DJ’s on the weekends. Try the Blackberry Sage: gin with muddled blackberries and ginger beer, its simple yet pretty mind-blowing.

Employees Only Miami

Located on South Beach in the Coral House at the Washington Park Hotel reflects and old-world vibe through its art deco accents. Being named one of Conde Nast Traveler’s 2018 “15 Best Bars In Miami” doesn’t hurt either.  Some have said that the drinks here are the best craft cocktails in all of Miami, with classics like Fraise Sauvage (Fords gin shaken with wild strawberries and Tahitian vanilla and topped with Prosecco) you know you are in for one of the best cocktails of your life.

The Corner

Located in Park West, Downtown Miami, The Corner is surrounded by the media and entertainment district.  Park West is part of Miami’s vibrant nightlife culture and art scene. This Miami New Times multiple winning bar & restaurant not only bring the cocktails but also is an amazing jazz spot for music lovers.  With drinks like the Pisco Punch, Lada Hitem Punch, and their version of a classic, the Hopped Mai Tai, The Corner is in the right place and doing exactly what it needs to stay.

Blackbird Ordinary

Blackbird Ordinary’s cocktail menu is anything but ordinary.  With fowl inspired names for their drinks like Blackbird (sweet tea vodka, blackberries, and lemonade), London Sparrow (gin, Aperol, passion fruit, lemon and cayenne pepper), and Woodpecker (Woodford reserve bourbon, ginger syrup, bitter truth aromatic bitters, lime and soda water).  Blackbird also does live music so you can sit back and groove while enjoying your cocktail.
