Chef Scotley Innis Brings Elevated CBD-Infused Dinner Party To Atlanta

Chef Scotley Innis is making waves with his upcoming elevated CBD-infused dinner party experience. On March 30, he will host his first 5-course CBD-infused dinner party at a secret location in East Atlanta from 6 pm to 11 pm.
Guests will be treated to more than just a sit-down dinner. On one level, guests will experience a live DJ and mixologists mixing up CBD-infused cocktails. On the main level, Chef Scotley will present a live cooking demo serving up 5-courses of CBD-infused dishes while a live band plays. Finally, on the top level, guests can take part in massage services that will use CBD oils and lotions.
“This is not your typical 5-course meal,” Innis tells Travel Noire. “It will be an elevated dinner party experience. We’re going to eat good and drink good. There will also be an educational component on the health benefits of CBD oil. This is not just some “weed party.”
“I wanted the launch to be in Atlanta. I plan to travel from state-to-state and then country-to-country with this. I’ve been planning this event for over a year and it’s the perfect time for it. This event will separate me from other chefs.”
Innis is from the Bronx, New York and has been based in the Atlanta area for the past 14 years. He received his professional training at Le Cordon Bleu and has been cooking professionally for the last 13 years. Since then, he has made a name for himself as a chef in and around Atlanta. His recognitions include ‘Top 10 Black Chefs in Atlanta,’ ‘Top 100 Chefs in Atlanta,’ as well as being a contestant on season 18 of ‘Hell’s Kitchen.’
While Chef Scotley lives in the South and can whip up any of the Southern classics, he wants people to know that his cooking style is more reminiscent of Caribbean fusion.
“I can definitely cook the Southern comfort foods with no issue. It goes hand in hand with living in the South,” Chef Scotley says. “However, I love to embrace my Jamaican roots and elevate Caribbean cuisine.”
Some of his signature dishes include oxtail ramen, Jamaican jerk lamb chops with papaya jicama salad, as well as an oxtail agnolotti pasta with carrot puree and Mexican cojita cheese.
If you are unable to catch the dinner event on March 30, you can find Chef Scotley hosting his ramen pop-ups at Habanos Cigar Lounge in Atlanta on Mondays. He also whips up a variety of dishes at Lava Lounge in Atlanta on Sundays.
