Cheating Boyfriend Gets Berated & Hit In The Head With A Laptop On Flight To L.A.

An American Airlines flight from Miami to Los Angeles went left after a woman accused her boyfriend of cheating before chasing him down the aisle and smashing a laptop over his head.

Footage of the incident was shared on Twitter and went viral, with over 7.4 million views as of Thursday afternoon.

Julia Scorupco was a passenger on the flight and shared the footage on Twitter with the caption, “hot girl summer has been postponed until further notice.”

It’s been reported that the woman began abusing her boyfriend because he was ‘looking at other women’.

In the shocking footage, the female passenger is shouting at her boyfriend and yelling racial slurs. At the beginning of the video, she yells: “You want to try to f****** look at other women, n****? Nah, f*** you!”

While she is shouting, passengers are sitting and trying to ignore what’s going on, while a flight attendant is attempting to diffuse the situation. The flight attendant points out to the woman that a small child is sitting right behind them. The woman responds to the flight attendant saying, “Yeah I know, I f****** consoled the f****** child.” She continues to should at her boyfriend, with whom she refers to as ‘Memo’, and tells him to “shut the f*** up.” He then gets out of his seat calmly saying, “you’re assaulting me, man.”

This sets the woman off and as her boyfriend makes his way down the aisle, she follows him — hitting him in the back of his head with a laptop.

Passengers, who had been observing the altercation from the beginning, began screaming with panic. The woman proceeded by punching her boyfriend with her fists before going to get her belongings from the overhead compartment.

Towards the end of the video, a male flight attendant informs the woman that she will be charged with assault.

Scorupco also shared the footage to YouTube, writing: “Everyone on the flight was a bit shaken, but we were grateful that it happened before takeoff as opposed to in the air. The airline handled the situation well and removed both passengers fairly quickly. Although us passengers would’ve appreciated free alcohol after witnessing a situation like that!”

A spokesperson for American Airlines tells the Independent in a statement: “Prior to departure from the gate on Sunday at Miami International Airport, two passengers who were both traveling together were involved in a dispute. Law enforcement was requested, and both passengers were removed from the aircraft. We thank the American crew who worked quickly to diffuse the situation. Their actions resulted in a safe environment for all passengers.”
