There are a number of reasons why traveling to New Orleans is a good idea. Mardi Gras, hitting up the French Quarter, and listening to jazz on Bourbon Street are a few notable things to do but our favorite is the food. New Orleans has delicious food for every type of foodie, but the seafood in NOLA takes the cake.
When in New Orleans, there is no doubt that trying different seafood restaurants is a must.

Located just steps off of Bourbon Street, Oceana Grill is the perfect place to get seafood and cajun food in New Orleans. It’s a fave amongst locals, tourists, and celebrities alike. You must come to Oceana for the oysters, gumbo, and crabcakes.
Located in the French Quarter, this restaurant specializes in seafood and bourbon. There are also lots of wines to choose from to compliment your seafood dishes.
This ‘no frills’ eatery is perfect for trying the iconic shrimp Po’ boy. Crabby Jack’s doesn’t skimp on their ingredients, serving up these deliciously stuffed sandwiches.
The great thing about Pêche is the fish dishes are cooked over an open fire, making for a very delicious meal.
This French Quarter restaurant is known for having one of the best gumbos in New Orleans. There’s also a really great wine list to go with your food.
Acme Oyster House
