Right after Labor Day, summer’s last official holiday, and before the craziness that the upcoming winter holiday rush will bring, is that time of the year where travelers can find amazing deals to popular destinations.

“October is a popular month for travel,” Marsha Souder’s, president of Prestige Travel told CNN. “It’s less crowded, cooler weather and has affordable pricing to many interesting destinations.”
