Here are some of San Francisco’s newest and hottest brunch spots that are sure to satisfy your late-morning cravings.

Tartine Inner Sunset

If you are looking for a low-key spot that celebrates the simple pleasures of brunch, this is your place. Tartine serves their classic Tartine Inner Sunset bread and pastry, Coffee Manufactory beverages, and savory items such as smorrebreads, salads, and soups. Tartine is open daily starting at 7 am.

Rose’s Café

A favorite in the Cow Hollow neighborhood, Rose’s Café is a hangout for locals who love sunshine on quaint patios, Italian fare, and artisan bakers offering a daily selection of pastries, desserts, and breads. Their robust brunch menu includes house-made granola, French toast bread pudding, a breakfast pizza with smoked ham, fontina, and eggs, and more. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 4 pm.

Wildseed

The city’s most talked-about new vegan restaurant, Wildseed, recently started serving brunch to its loyal patrons. Working exclusively with Northern California’s freshest and most seasonal produce, Wildseed serves up hearty, healthy, and satisfying meals that pull in global flavors and techniques alongside creative cocktails, local beer, and local, vegan, organic and biodynamic wines. Brunch includes 100% plant-based options like chia pudding, house pancakes, and avocado toast served Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm.

The Greenwich

The Greenwich started serving brunch last month and features some of the greatest hits from its sister venues such as Park Tavern’s buttermilk pancakes and Marlowe’s French toast soldiers. Reserve your spot for brunch on Saturday or Sunday between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm.

Tacolicious

There is never a bad time of day to enjoy a taco. Bay Area mini-chain Tacolicious just launched a brunch menu at its Mission District location in January 2020. At the moment you can enjoy six new breakfast tacos that range from scrambled eggs and bacon to a vegan option with roasted sweet potatoes and cashew crema. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday until 3 pm.

PRAIRIE

PRAIRIE is a live-fire grill in San Francisco’s Mission District with a strong emphasis on Northern California produce. Brunch is served on Sundays from 10:30 am to 2 pm and includes Carolina gold rice waffles topped with salted maple butter and an optional XO-fried egg, “retox-detox” drinks like a house kombucha bellini, and more.

Brenda’s French Soul Food

Inspired by Chef Brenda’s upbringing, Brenda’s French Soul Food offers fresh takes on New Orleans’ staples like beignets, po’ boys, and other Big Easy bites.  The brunch menu may leave your head spinning (or it could be the mimosas) with a huge list of options from chicken, sausage, and okra gumbo to classic French toast. You can enjoy brunch Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm and Sunday from 8 am to 8 pm.
