Whether you are a local or tourist just passing through, here are some spots across the city of Charlotte to enjoy a decadent brunch with options to please any palate.

The Asbury

Charlotte Magazine named The Asbury one of the top five restaurants in the Queen City in 2018. The restaurant, nestled by the lobby at the city’s only historic hotel, is widely recognized for its brunch. On the menu, you’ll find the restaurant’s signature Sticky Biscuits, Chicken and Waffles, in addition to Chef Long’s new squash toast.

Mimosa Grill

Consistently named one of Charlotte’s best restaurants since 1995, Mimosa Grill features global cuisine with a unique southern twist. The menu features only the freshest, natural ingredients that come straight from farm to the fork. The famous Sunday brunch buffet features small plates, desserts, and iron skillet highlights like Applewood Smoked Bacon and Roasted Maple Sausage and Mimosa’s Smashed Browns with Onions and Peppers.

Uptown Yolk

“A love affair with breakfast” boasts the Uptown Yolk website. We love a place that serves breakfast options all day. From their Mojo Hash to their Benny Yolko made with two eggs poached and Canadian bacon on English muffins with hollandaise sauce, you can enjoy brunch any time of day in a relaxing environment that is great for the whole family.

Fern focuses on plant-based and southern cuisine to create seasonal menus. Over the years Fern has gained both local and national attention, being featured in The Charlotte Observer, Creative Loafing, Food & Wine, and Taste of the South, as well as being named one of Charlotte’s top 25 restaurants in 2013. Fern is also named Charlotte’s Best Vegetarian Restaurant by Charlotte Magazine. Their Saturday and Sunday brunch menu includes a chef scramble, avocado lime toast, French toast, and an egg sandwich with tofu or eggs, bacon, cheese, and aioli.
