If you didn’t know that Bali was a cheap destination, then you are late to the party. This Indonesian city brings some of the cheapest, yet most exotic accommodations in the world. Not to mention, you can eat for next to nothing. According to the list you can eat a meal for as little as $2 and you can stay in a hostel near the beach for as little as $4. The average daily cost in Bali: $9.05.
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Chiang Mai, Thailand has a large Black expat presence. Many flock to this city filled with lots of greenery and zen because of its cheap prices. Hostels are on average $3.15 while a quick meal will run you around $1.58. Your average daily total: $10.11.
This North African destination is filled with that perfect old-world appeal with pops of color everywhere you turn. In recent years, the narrow clay alleys and colorful palaces around the city have shown up on just about everyone’s newsfeeds. An average night in a hostel is only $3.74.
