There is so much to love about a sandwich. Of the many reasons to love the traditional dish served with two slices of bread and whatever in between is the fact that it’s so easy to make.
But what makes a sandwich stand out from the rest is the art of spices, cheeses, condiments, and other secret sauces that sandwich-makers use to leave your craving for more.
After a little research from various discussion websites, publications, and social media, we have compiled a list of the best sandwich in each state.
The rumors around the state of Alabama is that a “barbecue” chicken sandwich made with “white barbecue sauce” made with mayonnaise and vinegar is a favorite among Alabamians.
If you’re looking for an alternative to that mayonnaise and vinegar combination, try the “Big Daddy Bar-B-Que” sandwich at Dreamland BBQ.
Alaska and fresh fish are almost synonymous so it should come to no surprise that the Halibut BLT is at the top of this list.
Enjoy a ¼lb. Alaskan Halibut fillet with tartar sauce and lettuce on a bone at Lucky Wishbone.
According to Reddit Users, the “wildcat” from Bison Witches in Tucson, Arizona is the best in the state. The sandwich includes thin slices of roast beef and smoked turkey with melted smoked gouda cheese. To top it off, its complimented with honey-based spicy Russian mustard.
There’s no mention on Reddit on exactly where but a “Dungeness Crab Melt on Sourdough” is by far the winning sandwich among users
You may not consider a burger but according to Reddit users, Bud’s Bar offers the best “burger in America.”
