Simplifying your beauty routine when its time to travel is can be tough. How can you pack your cleanser, toners,  scrubs, masks, serums, moisturizers, and other miscellaneous products without out taking up too much space in your carry-on and without any liquids ruining your bag? We have a few tips and tricks to make it easier to take your favorite skin care products with you on the run.

Buy The Travel Sized Version

We know this is probably a no-brainer, but many skin care companies have made it easier for their customers to take their products with them wherever they go. Retailers like Ulta, Target, and Nordstrom are a great place to find your products in smaller sizes.

Pick Up Toner Pads

My favorite toner is Dickinson’s Pore Perfecting Witch Hazel, but it’s difficult to travel with since it comes in a 16-ounce bottle and doesn’t travel well because of its bottles design. Lucky for me they offer their traditional formula in pad form, so I don’t have to worry about large leaky bottles ruining my favorite carry-on.

Try A Facial Cleansing Bar

Changing up your skin routine before or during your trip is one of the worst things you can do because skin loves consistency. Instead of waiting until your next trip, try integrating a new cleansing bar your that is right for your skin type. Be sure to pack your new bar in a container so that it stays dry.

Find Your Favorite Sheet Mask

If your a bentonite clay mask fan, you might have to go without it unless your pack it and your apple cider vinegar in your checked luggage. But, that doesn’t mean you have to go without a facial mask, companies like Shea Moisture have travel-sized masks and of course sheet masks travel well and are fun to wear.

Buy Serums In Smaller Packages

The Ordinary’s skincare products make great travel companions because while they’re small in size and budget-friendly, their ingredients keep skin fresh and in looking its best.
