By Kelsey Marie
Traveling while trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle can be difficult, especially when going on cruises. Cruise ships are usually where people forget about their usual lifestyle and indulge in foods they wouldn’t normally eat. Fortunately, there’s a cruise that only serves plant-based foods.
Wellness On The Sea is a chartered cruise experience that allows you to relax and enjoy your vacation while maintaining a healthy plant-based diet.
This year, the charter is sailing to the Bahamas with plans on sailing to other destinations in Europe and the Mediterranean in the future. Owned but the company Get My Boat, this experience allows you to book this plant-based experience which features three cabins, three baths, and showers.
All of the food is prepared fresh daily and paired with organic California wines.
Here’s what it’s like when on this plant-based chartered cruise:
A raw chef with over 40 years of experience with plant-based cooking will be on the boat.
The cruise is four days and leaves from Florida to the Bahamas. Rates start at $117 per night.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all plant-based and delicious.
If you don’t want to embark on a 5-day cruise, there is also a weekend cruise to the Bahamas, perfect for a quick plant-based getaway.
While in the Bahamas, you’ll be able to swim with dolphins, explore coral reefs and sunken ships.
