2019 is just a few weeks away, which means it is time to start thinking about your dream travel destinations for the upcoming year. We think a vision board is a more creative way of doing just that. Here are three easy steps to creating a vision board to inspire your travels throughout the year.

Get Your Supplies

You can’t create a vision board without the right tools: a board, scissors, tape, pins, glue sticks, magazines, and photos that you won’t mind cutting up. Pro-tip: Visit a craft store like Michael’s and don’t forget to bring your coupons.

Create A Quiet And Creative Environment

When you’re thinking about where you want to pack your bags and head to next, turn down the noise (social media, Netflix, Hulu, etc.) and focus on why and how you’ll get to the places on your new visual goal board. Will you need to find a way to bring in passive income? Do you want to find a new job that merges your love of travel while you grow in your career? A quiet and creative space will make room for you to think about your travel goals deeply.

Take a cue from professional athletes, and allow your new vision board to help you imagine your 2019 travel adventures.
