The Caribbean is home to as many as 7,000 islands and 26 countries in addition to warm weather, beautiful beaches, delicious cuisine and some of the friendliest people in the world.

Maybe its the relaxing scenery or decadent rum, but these 10 nations are the friendliest in the Caribbean!

Exumas, Bahamas

One of the most popular activities to do while visiting Exumas is to swim with the island’s pigs. In addition to swimming with pigs, many travelers specifically comment on how safe they felt and how friendly the locals are.

Nevis

This island has about 12,000 citizens and they’re all extremely proud of their homeland. Residents are super friendly and go out of their way to recommend places on the island to visit.

Saba

Saba may not be widely known, but travelers have referred to it as having some of the warmest people on earth. “It is a lovely, small island with an incredibly warm and friendly population,” says a CN Traveler reader.

St. Lucia

Located on the eastern Caribbean sea, this tiny island boasts some of the most amazing people!

Anguilla

This small island has an abundance of sandy beaches and welcoming locals, ready to introduce you to the culture on their island.

Barbados

Barbados has a strong British influence and you may even notice that some of the locals have a bit of a British accent.

The beaches here are absolutely enchanting, with crystal clear waters. The locals are very welcoming and will never bother tourists.

Not only are the locals on the island of Antigua friendly, but they are also extremely fun and will make sure you have the best possible time.
