By Stephanie Ogbogu
Nothing sets off an amazing summer vacation photo like the perfect pic in a fly infinity pool with a view. It doesn’t matter whether you’re in the Caribbean or tucked away in Santorini, if you can find an infinity pool, you’re in for an Instagramable moment.
If you’re looking for a pool to really set your vacation off right, make sure you stop by one of these 10 infinity pools across the globe.
Hanging Gardens of Bali (Ubud, Bali, Indonesia)
The Hanging Gardens of Bali resort takes swag and turns it up a notch with their bi-level infinity pool. The infinity pool at Hanging Gardens of Bali happens to be the most photographed infinity pool in the world and with great reason. Both levels of the pool provide an awesome view of bamboo trees and foliage. If you can’t afford the hefty price tag associated with staying at the resort, you can purchase a day pass or pay $20 USD per person to use the pool and take all of the Instagram photos your heart desires.
Sheraton Waikiki (Honolulu, HI)
No reason to pull out your passport for this view. The Sheraton Waikiki’s beautiful infinity pool is practically flush with the Pacific Ocean and is the largest oceanfront infinity pool in North America. Float on the edge of Waikiki while sipping a cocktail with the beautiful sunset and blissful ocean as your backdrop. You won’t regret it.
Infinity London (London, UK)
This infinity pool does not open until at least 2020 but it’s already got everyone talking about it. The future Infinity London will be the world’s first 360-degree rooftop infinity pool. The 159,000-gallon pool will be set atop a 55-story skyscraper in the center of London. It will feature a 5-star hotel and a transparent floor where those in the building can have an up close and personal view of the swimmers. Being the first 360-degree pool in the world, many wonder how swimmers will be able to get in and out. According to the pool’s designers, swimmers will be able to access the pool through a rotating spiral staircase based on the door of a submarine, rising from the pool floor.
Four Seasons Resort Seychelles
The infinity pool at this luxury resort is one to die for. It overlooks the beach which is just a few steps away, providing the perfect view of the white sands and crystal blue waters. What makes this resort even better is the fact that every unit has its own private infinity pool and infinity edge bathtub. This destination is perfect for honeymoons or just a relaxing getaway.
Grace Santorini (Santorini, Greece)
When it comes to Instagramable pools, Santorini takes the cake. There are so many beautiful pools in Santorini and all of them have great views, however, the infinity pool at this exclusive boutique hotel boasts panoramic views of the Aegean Sea from almost any room. It’s a favorite amongst honeymooners and other tourists and you’re guaranteed to get the perfect snapshot for social media. There’s also a Grace Hotel in Mykonos.
Zemi Beach House Resort & Spa (Shoal Bay East, Anguilla)
The Zemi Beach House Resort & Spa in Anguilla is a favorite amongst travelers who enjoy a nice pool. At first glance, it almost looks as if the resort’s infinity pool spills right into the Shoal Bay East, however, a glass wall at the far end separates the pool from the ocean. That wall also offers a bit of a view for beachgoers, so be careful what you do underwater.
Sanctuary Spa on Camelback Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ)
Who would have thought you could find a super cute infinity pool in Arizona? For those looking for a calm, affordable getaway that’s not too touristy, Scottsdale, AZ is the perfect place. The Sanctuary Spa is a 53-acre resort on Camelback Mountain and features an infinity pool with a scenic view of the mountains and lush desert. They even have paddleboard yoga classes if you’re into a unique floating experience.
Amankila (Bali, Indonesia)
Remember we said Bali is the spot for infinity pools? We weren’t lying. The pool at this luxury resort is like none other. It spills down the hillside in three tiers like a cascading rice paddy and overlooks the beautiful waters of Lombok Strait and its black sand beaches. This resort is secluded on a hilltop and perfect for a romantic getaway. It honestly does not get more beautiful than this.
Belmond Hotel Caruso (Amalfi Coast, Italy)
Sitting at about 1,000 feet above the Mediterranean Sea, the pool at the Belmond Hotel Caruso is located at the highest point in Ravello. The architecture in Italy is beautiful, and you’ll feel like you’re right in the edge of it all as you take a relaxing swim overlooking the Amalfi Coast. This hotel is quite on the pricey side but if you’re willing to make the splurge, it’s definitely worth it.
Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti (Tanzania)
If you’re going to go for it, go all out and book a room at the Four Seasons Safari Lodge at the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. While everyone is fawning over views of beaches, get in tune with nature via a majestic safari right at your fingertips.
