Flight Deal: Nonstop From New York To Rome Only $275

It’s time to pack your bags and get away for a little excursion through Italy. Alitalia, an affiliate of Delta Airlines, has dropped prices on direct flights from New York’s JFK airport to Rome, Italy. The lowest price we found at the time of this post was $275 roundtrip.

This cheap flight option is available for travel between January and March of 2020. There may be other low price options out there as well from other airlines. This can change daily.

We searched using 3/1-3/11 on Skyscanner. When using this site, it is easiest to filter your search by the actual month that you are interested in traveling. The lowest-priced dates will show up in green. You can choose the date combo that works best for you and follow the link to purchase.

Rome is the capital city of Italy and is the fourth most populated city in the European Union. (E.U.) The city is a mixture of piazzas, open-air markets, and beautiful historic sites.

The Colosseum, located in the Eastern part of the city, was once used for gladiator contests as well as other public spectacles. It could hold between 50,000 and 80,000 spectators. Today, it still stands as although damaged from earthquakes and stone-robbers.


Another must-see attraction in Rome is the Vatican. Located in Vatican City, it is the headquarters of the Catholic Church and home to the Pope. The highlight of The Vatican is Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. If you plan to tour the inside, be sure to get there early because the lines can get very long.

Plan to visit the Pantheon, which is the burial place of Rome’s kings and other prominent figures.

Make your way to Piazza Novana. Known as one of Rome’s most popular public spaces, The area is filled with restaurants, gelaterias, souvenir shops, and the Museo di Roma.

The food scene in Rome is one that cannot be missed. Try Espresso at two of Rome’s most popular cafes: Tazza d’Oro and Ceffe Sant’Eustachio.

Grab a scoop, or two, of gelato at one of the many gelaterias around the city. Of course, you can’t go to Italy without eating all the pasta your stomach can handle. Be sure to wash it down with some of the World’s best wines.
